What are your operating hours?
We are open from 11:30 AM to 7:00 PM, all days of the week. Public holiday hours may vary.

How long does a grooming session take?
Grooming durations vary depending on the cat’s breed, coat condition, and temperament. Most sessions take between 1.5 to 3 hours.

Is your facility clean and safe for cats?
Absolutely! We follow strict hygiene protocols. Our grooming area is sanitized between each appointment, and we use only pet-safe, vet-approved products.

2. ADMISSIONS

Is my cat suitable for grooming?
Most cats benefit from grooming, especially long-haired or senior cats. If your cat is aggressive or highly anxious, we may schedule a trial session first.

How often should I groom my cat?
It depends on breed and coat type. On average:

  • Short-coated cats: every 6–8 weeks
  • Medium-coated: every 4-6 weeks
  • Long-coated cats: every 4–6 weeks

Do you groom kittens?
Yes, we do! Kittens can start basic grooming from around 12 weeks old, once fully vaccinated. Gentle handling helps them get used to the process.

Do you groom senior cats?
Absolutely. We offer specialized care for senior cats, ensuring their comfort, safety, and handling their specific needs like joint stiffness or sensitive skin.

How do you handle aggressive or anxious cats?
We use calm techniques and positive reinforcement. We do not force restraint cats.

In extreme cases, we may advise a vet consult or sedation-based grooming done under veterinary supervision.

Can you groom cats with skin allergies or medical conditions?
Yes—with prior disclosure. Please inform us of any allergies, medications, or sensitivities. We use hypoallergenic shampoos and gentle grooming methods.

How should I prepare my cat for a grooming session?
Ensure your cat is calm, has eaten a light meal, and used the litter box. Avoid feeding right before the session. Bring them in a secure carrier. You can prepare some treats too!

7. GENERAL CAT CARE & GROOMING

Do cats really need grooming? Aren’t they self-cleaning?
Cats groom themselves, but they still benefit from professional care—especially long-haired breeds. Grooming prevents matting, reduces hairballs, and improves overall health.

How often should I brush my cat?

  • Short-haired: 1–2 times/week
  • Long-haired: Daily or every other day

What causes matting?
Matting occurs from loose, tangled fur—common in long-haired cats or those who don’t groom properly. It can cause discomfort or skin issues if left untreated.

My cat hates brushing. Any tips?
Start with short, gentle sessions. Use a soft brush, and reward with treats. Gradually increase the time. If needed, our groomers can help with desensitization.

Can grooming reduce shedding?
Yes! Regular grooming controls shedding and keeps your home fur-free. De-shedding treatments are especially effective during seasonal coat changes.

Can grooming detect fleas or skin problems?
Yes. Our groomers often spot early signs of issues like flea infestations, lumps, or rashes and will notify you immediately.

What’s the best brush to use at home?
For short coats: rubber mitts or soft bristle brushes. For long coats: slicker brushes and wide-tooth combs. Avoid tugging or using harsh tools.
