Cat Boarding Requirements

Minimum Age
We accept cats aged 8 weeks and above for boarding.

Vaccination Requirements
To comply with AVS licensing standards, all cats must have a valid FVRCP vaccination throughout their stay.
• Kittens (8 weeks and up) must have received at least one dose of FVRCP that covers their full boarding period.
• Adult cats must have completed the full course, or present a valid antibody titer test indicating sufficient protection.
• If vaccination is not possible due to medical reasons, a veterinarian’s letter must be provided, confirming the exemption and your cat’s fitness for boarding.

Sterilisation
Cats above 8 months of age or showing signs of sexual maturity (e.g., spraying or marking) must be sterilised prior to their stay.

Parasite Control
To protect all boarding cats, your cat must be free from parasites and skin conditions, including fleas, ticks, mites, ringworm, and intestinal parasites.
Owners are required to provide a spot-on treatment for application at check-in. Accepted brands include Advocate, Broadline, Frontline, Revolution, and Revolution Plus.

Health Status
Cats must be in good health upon check-in. If your cat has recently recovered from illness or injury (within the last 30 days), a vet’s certification of fitness to board is required.

Boarding Documents
Prior to boarding, owners must complete:
• Our Master Boarding Agreement
• A detailed Pet Assessment Form including feeding routines, medical notes, and emergency contacts

Physical & Behavioural Checks at Check-In
Upon arrival, our caretakers will perform a brief physical and behavioural assessment to ensure your cat meets our requirements.

We may respectfully decline boarding if:
• Required documentation is incomplete or missing
• The cat does not meet our health, vaccination, or behavioural requirements
• The cat shows signs of severe stress or aggression, making safe handling difficult

Special Considerations

Kittens
We provide extra attention and care to kittens during their stay. However, owners are encouraged to ensure kittens have already started their vaccination course and are familiar with basic litter habits before boarding.

Senior / Geriatric Cats
Elderly cats may require additional support. If your cat has mobility issues, special diets, or chronic conditions, kindly inform us in advance and provide updated medical records. We may request a vet’s clearance for cats over 12 years of age.

Medical Treatment During Boarding
If your cat falls ill while boarding, we will immediately contact you or your emergency contact. Should urgent veterinary attention be required, we will seek care from a trusted partner clinic. All medical costs incurred during the stay will be billed to the owner.
By boarding with us, you consent to allow our team to act in your cat’s best interest should medical treatment become necessary.

Our hotel features thoughtfully designed individual cabins and luxurious Feline Suites, ideal for multi-cat households or cats who enjoy extra room to stretch and explore. At PetPat, we don’t just board cats—we care for them like our own. With certified feline groomers and experienced caregivers on site, your cat is in safe and loving hands throughout their stay.

Whether it’s for a weekend getaway or a longer trip, trust that your cat will be cared for with professionalism, love, and lots of purrs.
